Troon Gala 1989, Troon TTA celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the French Revolution

In Villeneuve the 200th anniversary of the revolution was celebrated with a fireworks display on the evening of 14thJuly.

In Troon the Town Twinning Association commemorated the bicentenary with the "French Disconnection" Float in the Troon gala.

The Town-Twinning Float was followed by the Troon Rotary Club's caterpillar.

Now, after twenty-one years, their identities can finally be revealed.
