| Visit of Members of The Villeneuve Comité de Jumelage to Troon Friday 25th - Monday 28th April 2008 | ||||||||||

| On the last weekend of April 2008 members of the French Town-Twinning made a visit to Troon. A ceremony with the re-signing of the Charters on the occassion of the 20th Anniversary of the original signing was held in the Walker Halls and attended by Provost Winifred Sloan seen here with Villeneuve Twinning President Kenneth Napier and Troon President Malcolm McKinlay. After the ceremony our visitors were entertained by the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra. | ||||||||||

| On Sunday 28th April, there was a visit to Arran. At the Distillery there was an excellent conducted tour for our visitors, followed by a visit to the Standing Stones near Machrie | ||||||||||
