The Troon Town-Twinning Association organizes town-twinning group visits to Villeneuve approximately every two years. They also organize the reception of the French town-twinners in Troon at roughly the same intervals. During the year the committee organize various activities in Troon loosely related to Town Twinning.

2.What is there of special interest in the Villeneuve region?

Villeneuve is a fruit growing region and is famous for its prunes - les pruneaux d'Agen. The region contains a wealth of Bastides, castles, and villages with many of their original medieval features preserved. This is also a wine producing region with petits vins in the immediate region as well as Duras, Bergerac, and Cahors close by.

3.What is the easiest way to travel to Villeneuve-Sur-Lot?

Bergerac Roumanières Airport is one hour's drive from Villeneuve. There are Ryanair flights from London Stansted Airport which connect with flights from Prestwick. At certain times extremely advantageous prices can be obtained.
